Party Time Mixes ~ Sangria
September 17, 2017
I don't remember how I came across this Party Time Mixes website but it was awhile back. One day I was thinking about it and decided to look it up. I found the website and found a local consultant. I left my info and she contacted me through Facebook the next day. She seemed really nice so I decided to host a Facebook party.
After looking through all their products I was so excited. They have mixes for dips, desserts, and most importantly, cocktails! The cocktail packets are $6 and everything else is $5. I ordered a few and I will do reviews on the other ones later. Right now I'm gonna tell you about my experience with the sangria mix.
Pour the sangria mix in the blender. Pour in 1 bottle of wine(your choice). I used a whole bottle of Barefoot's White Zinfandel (minus one gulp). I'm no wine expert or anything, but this one is good if you like it just a little sweet. According to Barefoot's website it has southern flavors like like Georgia peach, sun-ripened strawberries, succulent pears, and pineapple.I couldn't tell ya which food it pairs best with lol.
Blend it on low for 30 seconds.
Then you need to fill the pitcher with ice. Blend on high for 1 minute.
I think I put too much in mine. Or maybe I just should have drank more of the wine....
My best friend Ashley and I poured our drinks and started sipping. And.....
they tasted just alright. I think the mix made it taste a little sweeter than what I like. If you really like sweet drinks and you like wine, I would recommend it. I think when it comes to sangrias I will stick to the old fashioned way. Maybe I would have liked it more if I had picked a less sweet wine to even it out? So I would give this 3 out of 5 stars.
